Shaun is a collaborative and innovative freelance multimedia producer with a track record of running noteworthy projects for local, national, and international clients under a variety of umbrellas as a producer, and in her role as a marketing and communications consultant. Her work has spanned the gamut - from partnerships with numerous corporations, and non-profit organizations, to in house at production companies.
As a producer, Shaun writes scripts for presentations, designs visuals and video content, supports top-level executives, coaches speakers for their presentations, and directs corporate events. A confident decision maker with a positive, can-do attitude, Shaun travels onsite to national conferences and sales-meeting locations to produce live events, experiences, and conferences. Her past and present clients include Dell Technologies Worldwide, BJ Wholesale Club, Barnes and Noble, Fleet Bank, Gillette, Reebok, Ocean Spray, Rockport, Bose, The j.jill group, Timberland, Keds, Titleist/Footjoy, Puma, Playskool, Welchs and Stride Rite, among several others.
Shaun is a TEDx licensee and co- curator for TEDxLincoln. From main-stage events, to youth and women’s events to salons, these events are planned and coordinated with support from individuals and organizations across Nebraska. Additionally, she coordinates the EN Thompson Forum on World Affairs at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and supported the UN-L Honors Program, where she helped to creatively re-envision programming to meet the needs of 21st Century students. Her areas of focus included re-branding and marketing; social media; storytelling and content strategy; and alumni communications, networking and programming. As part of her activities with the honors program, Shaun worked with the business and non-profit communities to build cooperative educational experiences for Honors Students.
Shaun has worked as the director of community engagement at the Foundation for Lincoln Public Schools, where she led the organization's marketing and communications activities related to donor outreach and engagement, events, mail marketing, social media, script and newsletter writing, and other content development.
Prior to that, Shaun worked for over 2 decades as a freelance producer in the Boston area and beyond, with both large companies like Jack Morton Productions, to smaller companies like LightWave Productions, where she produced multimedia and video productions for sales meetings and worked with high-level executives to create presentations for a variety of events - from IPO presentations to national sales meetings.
Shaun is a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and holds a Bachelor of Music degree. She also studied theater and English, and is an active alumna.
